This sandstone barn contained 12 stalls. Some of the young men, who worked with the horses, stayed in the loft area.

Royal Ford (horse pictured above) was purchased from W. T. Waggoner in the late 1930s by Fred Browning for $110,000. He was used for breeding purposes only. He was bred to a horse named Canfli and their foal Heelfli beat Seabiscuit in a race in 1940. The famous jockey Red Pollard rode Seabiscuit but he also rode horses from time to time for Fred Browning.

This stable was built for the famous horse Royal Ford.
