This course is a continuation of Essentials of Math I. The content of this course includes concepts and principles of geometry and measurement. The mathematical and problem-solving processes introduced in Essentials of Math I are further explored along with opportunities to reason mathematically, to solve mathematical problems, and to make mathematical connections within and outside of mathematics. Students are given opportunities to demonstrate knowledge of probability and statistics. A 10 session teaching practicum is included in this course.
