A study of the child-development approach to music education with emphasis on curriculum, methods, and materials is covered in this course. The Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) will be addressed throughout the course.

Prerequisite: MUT 2213, 2214, 2301, 2302 or equivalent and major in music.
